The Pelviline is great as it is slightly wider, so tens to hold it's position slightly better.
I hope this helps

- Prickly Review by Angel
Dear Angel, Please contact us directly we want to resolve this for you.
1. Have you used a probe before? Usually if a probe is 'prickly' it is due to vaginal atrophy, dryness of the vagina. This can stop women using a kegel8 and getting strong again (it becomes a viscous circle - prickly to use, so you stop using the machine, but the pelvic floor is getting weaker all the time, and strengthening would actually help the atrophy - dryness, but you can't because it is prickly).
2. Are you allergic to nickel? Maybe a gold-plated probe would be better for you.
Let me know if you would like to try another probe probe - we will send you one, it is vital you keep exercising and we are here to help, USA or UK we will help you get strong again.

- Moves round Review by Jojo
Thank you for your message.
We get similar questions every day from ladies who struggle to keep the tampon shaped probe in place unless they are sitting or standing, this is very common if your pelvic floor muscles are weak. The Comfort Probe is our most popular probe however if you are finding it difficult to keep the probe in place I would recommend that you try the wider and lighter Periform probe as most ladies find this easier to keep in place as it weighs much less. You can find the probe here: http://www.kegel8.co.uk/periform-probe.html
I hope this helps but if you have any further queries, please don't hesitate to ask.
If you can only feel the probe on one side you have nerve damage on one side I am afraid, this is quite common and often due to birth damage - baby's head I am afraid!.
I would point you in the direction of the http://www.kegel8.co.uk/beacmed-perisphera-h-perineal-probe-10089.html - you can use both channels of the Kegel8 and control the intensity for each side. In time you can help to restore sensation to this 'dull' side so please continue with your kegel8 pelvic floor toning programme.
Hope this helps
It is good that you know the probe isn't in place properly. Try sloggies or some other tight knickers to make sure that the probe stays in place. If you find that you still have a problem you might be better going for something like the http://www.kegel8.co.uk/perisize-nickel-free-vaginal-probe.html perizise nickel free probe - this is slightly wider and should stay in place because it braces itself against the muscle walls.
I hope this is of help to you.
Don't worry some women have initial problems keeping the probe in place, as your muscles get stronger it will be easier. However, some probe shapes are easier to retain than other - have a look at this one http://www.kegel8.co.uk/perisize-nickel-free-vaginal-probe.html it is both wider and lightweight and alot of women find this very easy to use and retain.

My first query would be to ask if you've recently seen a doctor as our initial thoughts to your query would be to question if you have a prolapse? If you do have a prolapse this can cause the probe to be pushed to one side rather than sitting in the middle as needed. Your soreness may be due to not using enough lubricant, if you are using a nickel based probe perhaps you are allergic, possibly you have the MA's too high or you may have vaginal atrophy.
I'm not quite sure which probes you have, the probes have names such as comfort probe, pelviline, Perisphera U so to give you a little more information on them at the moment is a little difficult. The metal on each probe is where they connect to the muscles and as the muscles are connected they strengthen in the surrounded areas that the probe is connecting to.
