Description

Based on the very latest clinical evidence, the Kegel8 Ultra 20 is the upgraded version of our best-selling pelvic toner with 20 clinically-proven programmes to prevent and treat a whole range of pelvic floor weakness problems.

The Kegel8 Ultra 20 is a revolutionary electronic muscle stimulation device with 20 clinically proven programmes to strengthen and rehabilitate your pelvic floor. The Kegel8 Ultra 20 is like a sat-nav for your pelvic floor muscles – it automatically locates the correct muscles, then stimulates and exercises them in the best way. NICE (National Institute for Health & Clinical Excellence) recommends pelvic floor exercises as a first line treatment for a weak pelvic floor[1], and the Kegel8 Ultra 20 has clinically proven programmes for incontinence[2], pelvic floor exercise[3], prolapse, pelvic pain[4] and more.

Why should I use a Kegel8 Ultra 20?

The Kegel8 Ultra 20’s programmes are based on the latest clinical evidence, and are designed to prevent and treat a whole range of pelvic floor problems such as light adult incontinence[5], lack of intimate sensation[6], prolapse, pelvic pain[4] and more.

All of these conditions are the result of a weak pelvic floor, and the Kegel8 Ultra 20 works deep within your muscles to help you get back in shape, regain control, and get strong and healthy from the inside out.

What makes Kegel8 Ultra 20 different from everything else on the market is that it comes complete with our unique Kegel8 Nickel-Free Gold Probe, making it perfect for those suffering with nickel allergies, and it can also be used with surface skin electrodes, making it ideal for those who can’t, or don’t want to, use a vaginal probe. Because it can be used with skin electrodes, the Ultra 20’s pain relief programmes make it perfect for period pain, vaginismus and tight pelvic floor muscles[4]. What’s more, the Kegel8 Ultra 20 can be used to treat overactive bladder[7] with electrodes on the ankle – this is known as tibial nerve stimulation.

Kegel8 Ultra 20 takes the guesswork out of which pelvic exercise device is best for you – its 20 programmes cover every kind of pelvic floor need. The clinically proven programmes cover everything from lack of intimate sensation[6], stress incontinence[2] and general pelvic floor workouts[3] to prolapse and pelvic pain[4] so you know that when you purchase a Kegel8 Ultra 20, all your pelvic floor needs are covered.

Most of us find it really difficult to do pelvic floor exercises – it’s hard to know whether you are using the right muscles, and because results take a while to show, it’s easy to get disheartened and give up. By exercising once or twice a day for 12 weeks with the Kegel8 Ultra 20, you will be well on the way to a strong, healthy pelvic floor and all of the benefits that it brings.

The Kegel8 Ultra 20 is a Class IIa medical device that’s CE approved and clinically proven. It is easy to use in the comfort and privacy of your own home. If you suffer from a pre-existing medical condition such as incontinence or prolapse, you can purchase the Kegel8 Ultra 20 free from VAT – just fill in the short form above when you go to ‘add to basket’.

Can I Use Kegel8 Ultra 20?

This Kegel8 uses Neuromuscular Electrical Stimulation (NMES) to stimulate and strengthen your muscles, it is safe and used widely by sportspeople and athletes for rehabilitation, muscle testing and strengthening.

However some people should not use NMES without first consulting a medical professional, these are:

  • If you are pregnant, unless under medical supervision. Whilst you should still perform manual kegel exercises you’ll have to wait until after baby is born to start getting strong using this health device.
  • If you have a pacemaker. Please check with your healthcare provider to see if it is safe to use NMES with your particular pacemaker, you may wish to print out a copy of our instructions so she/he can ascertain its compatibility.
  • If you are currently receiving treatment for any form of pelvic cancer, unless advised to do so by your healthcare provider. You should instead consider a device that does not use NMES such as the Kegel8 Trainer which will also give you a strength reading with it’s unique ‘squeeze scale’, or Kegel8 Vaginal Cones.

Our Customer Care team is always on hand to help with any questions. If you have any queries before or after your purchase please contact us, we want you get your pelvic floor in great shape again.

Surprised by size of control set Review by Hopeful
Product Rating
I purchased the Kegrel 8 for bladder incontinence when running etc. I thought the control set would be a lot smaller and I would be able to tuck it in my pocket and get on with life while exercising. Unfortunately it's quite large and would require me being stationary while exercising or holding it. My life is mega busy and I can not give the time to using this machine as it would be difficult to do much else at the same time. Hoping with time the design if the handset will improve. Didn't use it do can't comment on performance. I returned the Kegrel 8 and received a refund with no issues

Dear Hopeful, We wouldn't recommend using an electronic kegel8 pelvic toner whilst running, the probe needs to have good contact with your muscles at all times and as such running and exerting pressure could be counter-productive to getting the best results.
It is not pedometer sized because of its functionality and the 20 programmes that the unit offers. I am wondering if you confused it with a pessary? If you inserted a pessary and used this whilst you were running/exercising this would give your bladder support and it can stop exercise leaks. Have you looked at Contrelle http://www.stressnomore.co.uk/catalogsearch/result/?q=contrelle and Contiform http://www.stressnomore.co.uk/shopby/contiform.html either of these would be perfect for you to use whilst exercising.
You can use the Kegel8 Ultra 20 at night in bed - it takes 15 - 20 mins and you can read, watch TV at the same time. I know you are busy, as many of us are and we nearly always look after everyone first, but please give yourself a few precious minutes to strengthen your pelvic floor because the exercise leaks are the early warning signs that you need to strengthen up. You will benefit from using the Kegel8 Ultra 20 and particularly as you run, this puts great pressure on the pelvic floor.
Thank you for your comments - they really help other make the right choice for their needs. Good luck with your strengthening exercises.

Desperate for improvement! Review by Rosie6352
Product Rating
Having had an abnormal smear result and as a result of having had treatment it was brought to my attention that I had a grade 1 uterine prolapse, grade 2 cystocele and rectocele as well as a lapse perineum. I knew I was rather gaping down below but being told about this really stressed me out. My sex life has died as a consequence as I do not feel normal.

The most troublesome issue is the rectocele, as I feel this is worsening and I always feel swollen and bulgy prior to and even after having a bowl movement, as it feels as though stool is getting trapped. I often need to push the bulge back into my vagina to help me feel empty and have even used a douch as I hate to feel so uncomfortable.

I have looked at the Kegal products loads of times but being a bit of a sceptic I was unsure as to take the plunge as I am an impatient person and want to see results immediately.....Which I know doesn't happen. Anyway given that for about the last month or so, the bulging has become more frequent I decided I have nothing to lose by trying it. I have already got a TVT sling insitu as I suffered from really bad from stress incontinence so I want to avoid further surgery if possible.

I received my Kegal Ultra 20 26/03/14 and have used it twice a day on programmes p15 and p3. I can certainly feel my pelvic floor contracting when in use. I am unable to hold the probe in place unless I lie down as it slips out. I did contact customer services who recommended a pelviline probe as this is shaped differently and would probably stay in place better. Overall I do feel it is working and think the rectocele looks a bit less protruding so I will continue and hope for the best.

Only problem I am having is that I seem to have got thrush or possibly being irritated by using the probe? I do have a nickle allergy but the probe is gold plated so unless I am hyper sensitive to nickle? I assume it is thrush. I have not used the lubricant as that seems to make me itch too.

I am glad I purchase the Kegal 8 Ultra 20 and if it does what it says it will do? I will consider it money well spent. (Posted on 8 April 2014)

I should have got it sooner! Review by Ginnie
Product Rating
After having my son in 2007 I noticed that I wasn't getting much from intercourse. I basically felt like I had lost sensitivity in my vagina. I mentioned it to several doctors who kept telling me to continue pelvic floor excercises that weren't helping. Then 2 years ago, at age 29, I was diagnosed with prolapse and i was devestated. Still I was being told to continue pelvic floor excercises and I just became more and more depressed as symptoms got worse. I spent day after day crying and my love life has become non existent. I'd heard of kegel8 and read through the reviews and, after a lot of thinking I finally ordered it. After using it for the first time I already feel an improvement. To anybody feeling like I did, stop thinking and just buy it! :) (Posted on 4 April 2014)

21 year old girl, now viginesque once more! Review by Donnelly
Product Rating
I was looking for something to tighten me up after my horse-like ex boyfriend pretty much ruined the experience for any newcomers! I had difficuly finding a reveiw from any young women my age on this product, so was unsure about what the results would be. My pelvic floor, was probably alright, and to be honest I could have done the work with a manual exercerciser for a fraction of the price! It would have taken longer, and a lot more effort, I'm a lazy girl what can I say (;

Anyway, I received my kegal8 ultra 20 in the post yesterday, and used it promptly! I did two sessions, 30 mins each on setting 2, contraction @ 35. I was a little confused as to if it was working to start with, as you have to turn up the volume dial as it were, and I couldn't feel anything up to 25ish, so was slightly puzzled for approx 5 mins.

This is certainly nothng like a vibrator, I am p,eased that I can walk around with it in and it doesn't fall out.

Also I would love to inform, that after just two half hour sessions that day, that evening I spent with my new parter of almost a year, and we both could DEFINATLY tell the difference already. (Even though I haven't told him I bought the device, I've just been taking the credit for non-existent manual exercise ;) hehehe.

In conclusion, if your pelvic floor is in pretty good shape already, and you're lazy like moi, this will take your lovemaking to whole new levels! I am over the moon with the results of only one day, and I hope to finally be able to achieve vaginal orgasm one day, rather than through clitoral stimulation witch is limiting in positions.

So. Exited.
Best. Purchase. Ever. (Posted on 3 April 2014)

big difference already Review by usa patti
Product Rating
I held off reviewing the Kegel 8 to make sure it wasn't just wishful thinking on my part. I have used the unit for three weeks now, and I have already noticed a significant difference in bladder control. My husband commented on how tight everything felt--I didn't even ask him about it! I am able to walk long distances without leakage, even sneezing and coughing are not as scary as they once were. I will continue to use the unit on Program 10 twice a day, increasing the mAs as I feel comfortable. Looking forward to summer and the activities that I was unable to partake in. I am so glad I found this and wish you were selling here in the US.Don't hesitate to order this exerciser. (Posted on 21 March 2014)

So far so good. Review by Rutheliz
Product Rating
Like a lot of ladies on here, I have a prolapsed bladder and stress incontinence. Six years ago, I was referred to a consultant, after a failed attempt of a pessary. He advised I have surgery, I wasn't keen because I had heard that it only had a 85% success rate, and I would need two ops, one on my bladder to 'lift' it and then another in a few weeks on my uretha. So I declined. Afterwards I lost 3 stone in weight, which helped with the prolapse, but still had a problem with stress incontinence, but could live with it. Now at 65 I find that my prolapse is bothering me again. I was going to go back to the doctors, and thought that it's inevitable that I had surgery. Then I started doing some research and found the Kegel 8, and after reading the reviews decided to give it a try. Well I have had it for a couple of weeks now, and I'm using it every day. I have noticed a subtle difference, It's not going to happen overnight, so will persevere. The instructions can be a bit vague, especially if you have more than one complaint. You have to keep switching from one page to another. But the help line is very good if you need to have anything explained. So I will continue using this. Not sure if I will ever be able to go without pads, but you never know.. watch this space! If it improves by 50% then it will be a great help. So far I am happy.

Thank you for your review - it will help other women know that there are other choices than surgery. Keep at it, here to help as always. Kegel8 (Posted on 13 March 2014)

I think I like it already! Review by B
Product Rating
First off I must say that the product came very quickly! I live in the states and it comes from the UK. Not sure how many days as I don't check my mail every day but 7-10 days I think. Anyway...... I have done the kegel8 for 3 days and I believe there is a slight difference already. I have a prolapsed Uterus, about a 3 grade. Which for those who don't know is it sticks slightly out. Now it is slightly sticking in, lol...... Anyway...... If they let me I will continue to write about my progress. I would like to hear yours too!! Good luck ladies!! One thing tough, I do think the product is a bit expensive, but hey if it works, It is worth it!! I say this because I have a tens unit, like the electrodes with the pads that come with this...... and it was only 30 dollars. Granted the Kegel8 20 has a bit more to it. (Posted on 11 March 2014)
