I have had this product for 4years now, I must say when I get to use it the results are fast, I find it helps me locate the correct muscles also so I can get a better pelvic worKout as I find doing pelvic exercises without this machine too hard and frustrating. The only thing is one side of the probe stopped working after a year or so, but at least you can buy them seperate which I plan on doing next week. I would definately reccommend this product! I am 46 and have noticed over the last 4 years that my bladder control has got steadily weaker: urine leak when coughing, laughing, not being able to hang on to go to the loo, sex being a bit uncomfortable in some positions, having to wear a pad all the time- just in case!. Have tried pelvic floor exercises during this time but they seem to have stopped having an effect. It came to a head when I spoke to my doctor who couldnt offer me any help and was very negative about having surgery. I went away feeling very fed up with the situation and decided to see what I could do myself. I must admit I was very skeptical about the kegel 8 especially with how much it cost but was desperate to try anything!
I have used it about 2 weeks on a 20min programme once a day. I wasnt quite sure what to do at first and rang the helpline - the woman was really helpful and explained that you have to put up the pulse as high as you can bear it so mine is set around 33 at the minute. She also suggested doing the one hour workout a couple of times a week. I lie on the bed and watch tv at night so its quite easy to find the time.
The amazing thing is...IT IS WORKING!!!!! In 2 weeks I can now hang on much longer to go to the loo- have had no leaks- stopped wearing pads. Sex is more comfortable and it feels like my cervix has kind of pulled back up. It really is incredible. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending this product which I would not have believed works!! I love this product and can't praise it highly enough....I wish every woman knew about Kegal8....I had a hysterectomy 21 years ago and my sex life hasn't been the same since....I didn't feel like a woman, I just felt mutilated. I had a bladder prolapse 4 years ago and had an op for that, and so the muscles became even weaker....I can literally feel the difference since using the machine. I must say that you need to keep using the machine though...I stopped for 3 weeks due to ill health and moving home, and things slackened again, so I am back on the exercises again. I have recently bought this item which as it turned out was faulty as the MAs would not increase beyond 4, however the company supplying it replaced the "probe" and all seems to be working well.However the instructions could be more detailed for example what should you realistically set the MAs at to begin and what the maximum MA is.Also suggestions on how often it should be used, daily twice a day etc.Also it could come with a case to put it in as someone has already suggested, rather than a cardboard box.Will only mark 3* as have not really used it as it was originally faulty. I bought the tight'n'tone to tighten up after the birth of our son in June last year (bout time we got our love-life back on track!) Didn't feel quite the same, so i tried this. I found it easy to use, and gives me a nice tingle actually! I felt stronger muscled in about 6 weeks although they say 12 weeks. b/f noticed and is most impressed! (Posted on 08/02/2011)

Used this now for a few weeks, and I am delighted. I have really noticed a difference, I don't go to the loo as much - I have also knocked coffee out of my day too and this has also helped. I have started a yoga class too to strengthen up my core muscles too, ie hips, lower abdominals etc. I feel very positive about this and would encourage other women to do the same. I found out that my Mum had a prolapse at 42 followed by a hysterectomy and as I am not getting towards that age I do not want to follow suit. She says that she never felt the same again, and never felt like a woman following her op which had terrible complications, so I am determined at all costs to help my body to heal itself.
I've also lost 1/2 stone so far (I am at least 1 1/2 stone overweight) so it has spurred me on to look at my body and decide what I want. I am really, really pleased at the benefits but feel a tinge of sorrow for my Mum who didn't have access to this product 20 years ago or the kind of information that women today have. Amazing, I can't believe something so simple could make such a difference. I have used this for 4 weeks now and I haven't had a leak since. More importantly I feel strangely more sexier, and my lovelife with Hubby is back on track after several months of it just passing us by. I tell all my friends, two of whom have bought one, this is really so important to women, my Mum had a prolapse at 35 and she said it was the end of her relationship - I don't want to go the same way as her.

I have just come back-on here to buy a refill of the ke gel. I have used the kegal 8 for about 10 weeks now. Results were slower than I had expected at first, but now everytime I use it i feel that i am getting stronger. i don't wear pads anymore and it has spurred me onto to lose weight - 7 lb so far. I feel better about myself and i can now exercise without leaking, something i couldnt do before. Its brill! (Posted on 18/05/2010)

Great way to exercise, it is quick and easy, pop in the probe and away you go! I found this probe difficult to keep in place though and upgraded to the wider probe so other might like to consider this. (Posted on 07/05/2010)
