Don’t hold it in! Shout about World Continence Week

Has it already been a whole year since our last post about World Continence Week? Have you been keeping up with the Kegel8 Top 5 Tips? This year, we are doing better than giving away tips, we will be giving away a set of our fabulous Kegel8 Vaginal Cones, absolutely free!

Incontinence is ‘taboo’ across Britain even though a quarter of women over the age of 35 and 1 in 10 men suffer from it in some form, commonly known as laughter leaks. Only around 40% of these will come forward to ask for help. We don’t like it and we don’t like to talk about it.

World Continence Week, by the Bladder and Bowel Foundation aims to increase awareness of the problem. We at Kegel8 are passionate about helping men and women suffering from the embarrassment and inconvenience of ‘laughter leaks’. Our pelvic toners help to strengthen the pelvic floor muscles, leading to greater control.

Kegel8 Vaginal Cones

Kegel8 Vaginal Cones are magnificent at helping you locate the right muscles and perform pelvic floor exercises correctly. Their unique shape means the tail moves down when you clench the correct muscles, giving you visual support for the muscles you can’t see.

The set of 3 cones are different weights, allowing you to have active progression as your pelvic floor gets stronger – giving you control over your body. They are made from body safe silicone and have had fantastic success in clinical trials. Follow this link to find out more.

If you are suffering from incontinence, give us a call. Our friendly Kegel8 advisers are trained to help find the best solutions to your problem and are happy to help. Spread the word about World Continence Week 2014 and help break down those embarrassment barriers.

Win in World Continence Week!

To enter for your chance to win a set of our brilliant Kegel8 Vaginal Cones, fill out the Rafflecopter Form below and like Kegel8 on Facebook, follow Kegel8 on Twitter or leave a comment on what you think about World Continence Week. Do all 3 to have 3 chances of winning! The competition is open to UK residents aged over 18 and will close at midnight on Sunday, July 6.

It is something that we need to be more aware of, some issues get pushed to the back burner until the problems arise. Better to be knowledgeable and prepared. Thankyou

Its a great idea to raise awareness of a serious issue. I had to have physio after my first baby and felt really embarrassed about it. Anything that draws attention to the problem can only be a good thing.

It's fantastic that awareness is being raised on a condition that is very much kept hidden and out of the limelight but one that is suffered by almost everyone at some point in their life.
