Antibiotics are a prescription medicine available from Doctors.

They are prescribed for bladder infections and urinary tract infections (UTIs), they are not a suitable solution for an overactive bladder. If you find that you are getting recurring bladder infections it could be that your pelvic floor is weak and a course of pelvic floor exercises could help you.

If you have been prescribed antibiotics and your symptoms haven't improved after completing the course of antibiotic treatment you should always go back to your doctor.
