Dysuria

Dysuria refers to painful or difficult urination - it also refers to 'burning urine' or a stinging sensation. It is most often a result of a urinary tract infection. It may also be due to an STI (sexually transmitted infection), bladder stones, bladder tumours, and virtually any condition of the prostate.

Dysuria, or painful urination can also occur as a side effect of anticholinergic medication used in the treatment of Parkinson's disease.
