What and Where is the Kegel Muscle?

The Kegel Muscle is also known as the pubococcygeus muscle or PC muscle is a hammock-like muscle, found in both women and men. It stretches from the pubic bone at the front to the coccyx or tail bone at the base of the spine and to the hips side to side in a bowl shape. The kegel muscle runs along the pelvic floor and surrounds the entire vagina.
