Mixed Incontinence

Mixed Urinary Incontinence at Kegel8

What Is Mixed Incontinence?

Mixed Incontinence refers to several types of incontinence, including stress incontinence, which is the leaking of urine caused by coughing, sneezing, or other movements that put pressure on the bladder, and urge incontinence - the uncontrolable loss of urine after feeling the need to urinate.

Many people have symptoms of both stress incontinence and urge incontinence and studies show that mixed incontinence is more common in older women. Because mixed incontinence is a combination of stress and urge incontinence, it shares symptoms of both conditions.
