Retroverted Uterus

Will Having a Retroverted Uterus Affect Me?

Also known as a tilted uterus, tilted womb or tipped uterus. It refers to a uterus that is tilted backwards towards the spine instead of forwards.

A retroverted uterus does not usually cause any medical problems although it can be associated with dyspareunia (pain during lovemaking) and dysmenorrhea (period pains or mentrual cramps).
