Having had two repairs each for prolapsed bladder and bowel, the last two just over a year ago, I was devastated to find I had another small bladder prolapse. Surgeon has suggested further surgery. I was nervous about two things: spending a lot of money on something I'd only seen on the internet, not heard of from a 'real' person - and also nervous about using something internally as I freak out during smear tests as they are so painful - I get vaginismus (also during sexual intercourse). Nevertheless I went ahead because I saw my middle age incontinence just getting worse and worse. I'm so delighted with this product - I use it twice daily on programme 3 for urge incontinence and can relax and listen to my favourite radio programmes whilst using it. I get to my front door, get the key in the door and can just about hold it in now without leaking only after two weeks of use at 30 to 40 MA. I long for the day when I may be able to do without pads and if things keep improving at the same rate I believe this day will come. At first I found the sensation rather strange but I've come to associate such positive results that I now enjoy using the machine.

I wonder why I took so long for me to do something about the problem I had with leaking. It had got to the stage that even going downstairs I would leak and when the lift at work broke I was goind down 3 flights of stairs and I could feel the leaks onvirtually every one. My sex life was non existant - we'll the occasional fumble, but I hadnt had an orgasm through sex for ages. I did some background research and my sister in law sore by her kegel8 so much so that I decided to try it. I havent got a prolapse like she has thankfully, but I know that something was not right. It is early days but I am extremely positive that I will continue to see results as I feel a slight improvement already. I am 64, I don't suffer from a weak bladder, I have not been to the doctor but I do feel a bulge and can only think this would get worse as time goes on. I knew I needed something to tighten me up, but I hadn't realised that there was something like this available! Quite honestly it is amazing, Hubby thinks it is wonderful and when I had a 2 week break recently he noticed straight away, it is that effective! Yes you do have to use it regularly, but for someone like me who goes to the gym, walks the dog, it just becomes part of my routine. I now use it 2/3 times a week. I don't have any leaks or mishaps, and my love-life is better than it has been for a decade. I tell all my friends, some have bought, some are embarrassed that I am talking so candidly about my problem/solution. These should be available on the NHS, simple as that! Having been diagnosed with a prolapsed bladder (retocele) my doctor said I could have a pessary fitted but I wasn’t too keen on this as they can cause an infection, so I had a look online to see what other information I could find. And lo and behold I stumbled across the Kegel8 website, and OMG I’m so glad I did. Having spent ages reading a lot of the reviews I just knew I had to buy one. I opted for the Kegel8 Ultra 20 V2 and wow was I surprised upon using it. Kegel8 has changed and improved my life immensely, it just works. I found having to do pelvic floor exercises several times a day, not only difficult, but extremely tiring and I hated it, but had to do it. But with the Kegel8 Ultra, it was so much easier, I wouldn’t be without it. It’s a little machine but it packs an almighty punch, but is in no way painful. I can’t believe how good it is, but take it from me it is, it really is, and I would most definitely recommend it. Also the Kegel8 company are superb. If you ever need to contact them for any further help or advice they are on it immediately with a quick response and only too happy to help. They are extremely kind, caring and most helpful and can’t be faulted, so between the company and the Kegel8 Ultra you can’t go wrong, and I couldn’t be more pleased and grateful. As a mum of 6, which includes twins, I've had my fair share of stress in the pelvic area! I bought this because I've never done any pelvic floor exercises and I'm now suffering with minor stress incontinence. It arrived and I've been using it on the correct programme, after following the steps. The probe fits and works properly. It couldn't be any easier. The guide is simple to understand, simply find your problem and follow the steps. It comes in a wonderful case which feels excellent in quality, which makes you feel like you've got a luxury item.
You can feel when the probe is in place and working properly. It tells you if the positioning is wrong, you can feel it. You will soon get used to it. It's got a thick reinforced wire around the cable that goes inside, so you can easily wash it after each use and dry. It's firm. It feels very tough.
I don't know if it's a coincidence but I can now fully hold my stomach in - I couldn't even suck it in, prior to using this Kegel 8. Coincidence, maybe? Anyway, I feel like my pelvic floor is being worked properly and there is no way I'd be able to do this manually. I pop it in, watch Netflix and chill. I love it. I'd buy another, it really is that good but.. I've only got one vagina!

I ordered this nervously! It was a lot of money for me to spend on something on the internet, and even though the reviews are great, I felt quite unsure, although I definitely wanted to try it.
I have been finding it harder and harder to feel my pelvic floor - never mind exercise it - forget it! I wondered if it was even there! I've always struggled with kegels, babies have taken their toll, I think. I'm 48, and as I get older this slack feeling is just getting worse with the perimenopause. I'd also started to feel very lumpy and uncomfortable in my pelvic area before/around my period, and by the end of the day I can look pregnant, my tummy is so poochy. I have begun to wonder if everything inside is where it should be - or not! Sex, well. I couldn't really feel it.
So I hoped this might help. When it arrived, I was daunted by the instructions. Definitely do watch the intro video on youtube, that makes it easier to understand, and then the booklet makes sense. Little tips on the video helped me, like you can put your knickers back on while using it. Made the whole thing more normal. Also which way round to put it in! The video is super helpful.
I have started slowly, going carefully. Three weeks in, my tummy looks more flat and it does not pooch at the end of the day. I have used programme 3, and am onto programme 4. I can join in with the machine now, which is exciting. Finding the time was a bit hard at first, but I'm also doing a course, so now I do my homework at the same time as using the kegel8 ultra 20, talk about multi tasking :) But that works well and fits into my routine easier.
So far so good, I am very happy I bought it and looking forward to seeing how I feel down the line.

I bought this because I had a rectocele

I bought this as I have a rectocele (small bulge at entrance to vagina due to bowel poking through my weak vaginal walls). I had 2 children and very fast births so expect it was the result of that stretching everything, although that was 20 years ago. I also did a lot of heavy lifting as I am a keen gardener. The rectocele began about 10 years ago, and got steadily worse. Trying to pull in my muscles meant it did go back up, but only while I tensed. Then it just bulged out again. The doc sent me for a hospital referral but they said I was too young for a repair as it would just break open again, so referred me for physio. They recommended doing manual kegels. So,I tried regular manual kegels but that's kind of a waste of time as you simply cannot do enough (or don't have time). I found this website when searching for other ideas. Mine is now the Kegel 8 Ultra 20. I'd bought a slightly cheaper one initially but didn't find it helped so after about 6 months I contacted the help desk. They recommended this model and I used the Glide Gold probe with it. This was not a quick win for me, and initially I did have to use it religiously every day. The programme was 3 days on P15 (PNC2) followed by 2 days on P3 (EXE1), then repeat. After about 6 months use, my rectocele has all but disappeared. It stays up without any effort although I have learned to try and not lift anything heavy, or be sure to tense before I do that, as obviously this can create issues again. I would recommend this to anyone who has issues with their pelvic floor, but despite reading other reviews I would not expect miracles overnight. That said I am 56 so maybe for younger people you do get quicker results.

I recently traded in my old device for the newer Kegel 8 Ultra20 v2 after I realised I really needed to do something to help my prolapse which felt like it was getting worse by the day. I was impressed from the moment I opened the box. This version comes in a lovely case which was a lovely surprise for me as it makes it easy to store in the bathroom, or take on holiday with you without anyone knowing what it is. So far I have only used it for a week, but already noticed when I had my period this week that my tampon wasn’t falling down as it was previously which was great. I’m not expecting this to be some quick overnight cure and I know I am going to have to continue to use it regularly to see significant improvement, but I am hopeful that by using this I will be able to avoid and operation, for the time being at least as I am only 39. I will review again in a months time but so far I am impressed with my upgrade and have already recommended it to others.x
