Product intended use

I bought the Kegel8 for Men a month ago and started to use the same; the instructions were not that clear but after trial and error, I managed to use the machine easily.

I needed this only for OAB so use the program PO6, using the skin electrodes. The internal probe was redundant but there is no way to exclude that if I did not want to; so you should add a note regarding this so that it is not sent for people who do not need.

When I went through the booklet 'Kegel8 for Men', to check the programs, I found the contents of the pack on page 9 that there should be 4 Skin electrodes, and if anything is less or missing, it advises to contact the Customer Service. in the pack, I received, there were only 2 skin electrodes and all the other contents were ok. I have attached a photograph of that page, herewith.

I sent couple of emails regarding this, but no response from either!
Would you kindly send me the missing 2 skin electrodes, please?

Great device

All quite an odd sensation if youâ€™re not used to an â€˜itemâ€™ in your rear but not wholly unpleasant as the device is small and insertion is very easy with gel. In reality quite easy to dial in the right power mA for the PF exercise aimed for. However you do need to let the machine do the work - thereâ€™s a temptation to assist but in time you can just relax and let your PF be strengthened. Important to undertake regularly for best results,

Only on my 5th week and have noticed much improved symptoms, especially at night, using posterior tibial nerve stimulation!

Innovative idea

I had previously struggled, seeing no real progress with prior kegel exercises. After having this piece of equipment recommended to me, I thought it worth trying.

Full disclosure, I’m yet to find a consistent rhythm in the use of this device. That being said, can see its potential benefits in consistent use.

've used EMS and TENS devices before and know how effective they can be but was really nervous about using anything internally!😬. I know that EMS/TENS is effective treatment for weakenedand sore muscles. However, my fears about the internal probe were unfounded - the Kegel8 device gives the user full control over the strength and intensity of the current and therefore there's no reason for any unpleasant surprises as long as you are sensible and stick to the recommendations given for each of the programs.

I have been using the unit for 6 weeks and have already noticed a significant improvement in my symptoms.

I would have given 5 stars but I had an allergic reaction to the skin electrode pads provided. I was disappointed when I contacted the customer service team to learn that they do not sell hypoallergenic electrode pads. Given the delicate and sensitive nature of skin in the areas where the pads are used, this is quite a serious oversight. I sourced my own hypoallergenic pad

Compact Portable Device.

My history is I spent five years at the hands of the UK NHS trying to control my bladder they spent three years doing test,s then two years using Alpha blockers drugs nothing worked them they bladder neck insert operation it never worked next they wanted to operate on my spine and I refused them they then discharged me saying they could do nothing.
I saw this advertisement for the Kegel 8 incontinence machine and thought I give it a try. Have been using the machine for three weeks and so far I am happy with the procress, I am making but above everything else this machine is giving me hope.
The instructions say real improvement after three months so I will continue to use to device. Like I said it gives me hope so I would recommend.

Pleasantly surprised...and thankful

About 3 years ago (when i turned 30), I started experiencing nocturia (needing to go to the toilet a lot at night).

For me it was mostly my bladder being super irritated (fizzy drinks , and booze making it worse) and stopping me sleeping through the night (being up 5/6 times a night).

Anyways, I went to the doctor about a month ago and she diagnosed me with a "overactive bladder", with a week pelvic floor being the core issue.

A few weeks ago i decided to try this gadget, and after a week and half, I've noticed a big improvement (only being up 2/3 times a night).
I've started having coffee and fizzy drinks again, with no regression, booze does upset my bladder though. But I think a bit longer on this machine will aid with that.

My advice would be to try it, and brave the anal prob (it's not that bad), a good nights sleep is totally worth it!
