This is the best designed disposable pessary Kegel has launched so far but totally unaffordable to keep using. Unfortunately there is only one silicon design pessary available on here now and it is totally unsuitable for bladder prolapse. Have had to go to Med Italia. I don't understand why Kegel is not selling a decent range of silicon pessaries.
Thank you for sharing your feedback on the Contam Duo Pessary. We’re glad you found the design effective, but we’re sorry to hear about your concerns with affordability and the limited silicone options for bladder prolapse. Your input is valuable, and we will share it with our product team to explore expanding our range. If you have specific needs or would like personalized recommendations, please contact our customer support—we're here to assist you in finding the best solution.
Everyone saying they're expensive. Retailers not allowed to say this, but with washing and storing overnight in diluted Milton fluid, you can use them for a month. Go on Facebook FPOPS groups. I've successfully been using them, taking out overnight, washing in neutral soap and soaking overnight in dilute Milton fluid, fire over a great, never any problems
I'd recommend this all day long for those desperate to exercise without accidents.
However I'd recommend wearing these WITH incontinence/period pants as unfortunately (for me) it didn't completely fix the issue, however does help lots.
Very satisfied with this product, expensive but worth it's weight in gold
I'm 68 and have been using Contam Duo for over 6 months for advanced bladder prolapse. During the early stages of the prolapse, I made slow but steady progress doing Kegels. Over time, I tried a couple support belts and some compression shorts to help keep my bladder tucked up but they were uncomfortable and unsatisfactory. My prolapse was pouching out of my vagina making it uncomfortable to sit down, exercise, or kneel and squat as required for gardening (my passion!). The Contam Duo pessary provides very effective bladder support and is easy and comfortable to insert and remove. I can tell it helps strengthen my pelvic floor muscles as my bladder does not pouch out when I am standing and not wearing the pessary. I re-use mine for 10 days and follow a 5 minute boiling sterilization procedure every morning.
I am pleased I read the instructions fully, because it arrives hard and unyielding. Once soaked it is easily inserted and it gives me the bulk I need to help with my prolapse.
I bought a pack of 3 and in all honesty rather than use and discard I wash in an underwear bag in the washing machine.
I wanted something I can use as and when and remove when necessary. I know that permanently inserted pessaries can cause erosion and infection and I'd rather manage this myself.
I am 38 and suffered a prolapse after the birth of my 3rd child and I want to avoid prolapse surgery at all costs!
