Find a comfortable position — reclining with knees slightly apart works well for most people.
Start with the smallest dilator. Fill the lubricant channel with Kegel8 Dilator Gel — a water-based, body-friendly gel developed specifically for comfortable dilator therapy — or your prescribed topical cream.
Gently insert the dilator to a point where you feel comfortable. Never force. Breathe slowly and allow the muscles to relax around it.
Once inserted comfortably, you can gently move the dilator side to side for 5–10 minutes.

recommended these for vaginal stenosis

Was recommended these for vaginal stenosis following my recent cancer treatment (adding insult to injury - literally). Clinicians had originally recommended a hard plastic dildo type dilator with a large handle adding I could purchase my own and showing me these. The NHS ones are awful - why are these not available on the NHS? These are easy to use, they can be warmed which I like and I can add more lubricant as and when necessary. I have also been prescribed topical oestrogen cream, and the lubricant well on the dilators works well for getting that where I need it. So comfortable, feel female friendly after so much brutal intrusion. Highly recommend.

Great product for post operative reconstruction. Stretch to the size needed for comfort during lo...

A great product to stretch to the size, you need to be to enjoy lovemaking with your partner. My advice is to have a variety of sizes and start small, especially if you have had Surgery for any reason, including a reconstruction.
Take your time going through the sizes and feel comfortable for the future when you feel ready to be with your man. Good luck you need to be patient.

Highly recommend these dilators. NHS therapist used the hard plastic ones and I struggled when using on my own, they were prehistoric. Keegle vaginal dilator size 5,

I am a trans woman and have had peritonial vaginalplasty surgery a good few years ago, so I'm used to dilation, now only doing occasionally as maintenence and lubrication
I decided to get this as I wanted something to help lubricate rather than dilate , the way it is designed allows gel to get loaded and inserted well into the vagial canal,
Points of note
1.. Soft gental sponge like and less embarrassig
2. Can be left in 'but not when walking around ' it slowly eases out . But will stay in if sitting or laying down,
3. Easy to insert due to tapered end.
4. Groves help deliver lubricate deeply
5. The size 5 still could be larger for insertable legth, or create a larger size 6 guys
6. The Size 5 needs to maintain more diameter towards end,
As I am transgender then the above points are relative for me and my surgery etc
I would say the Keegle need to develop a set for transgeder post operative vagnoplasty , as the ones I used after my surgery were hard and uncomfortable,

Wish I’d know about these before!

I love that I can use these discretely, sitting at my desk working from home or even overnight as I sleep. Their shape makes them easier to use than the more rigid types on the market.

Like the material, does it job. Should maximum size ie diameter of dilators be compatible to sex toys sizing?

Simple, jargon free instructions. Product packaged well, liked the drawstring bag for storage also. Dilator well made, easy to use and easy to clean. I used a moisturiser of my own, this made the dilator easier to insert as I have vaginal dryness. Tried two sizes, both very simple to insert, so will keep dilators for future use. Highly recommended.

Makes this treatment so easy

Post menopause dryness, prolapse and vulvar discomfort, possible lichen Schlerosus. Very soft and comfortable to use. Sits in hand easily, and I have also used it while watching TV and now after a few weeks I have also slept with the small one in place. Have also used with the topical steroid treatment the channels work well and gets the cream where it should be. I am practising relaxation and the addition of the dilator gel makes it so easy. With these dilators I certainly feel that I have turned a corner. 100% recommend

Very effective and discrete

At 63 and on chemotherapy for breast cancer, and with only an occasional visit from my partner sex had become very uncomfortable. The dilators, although uncomfortable for the first few uses, are now tolerable and am looking forward to seeing my man again instead of dreading it.

Exceptional Dilators

I bought this set and took it to my therapist, who wanted to see them. She was impressed. I like the place you put lube on to get it in easier (ever tried putting lube on a conventional dilator? It just wipes off when you insert. Esp if like me you have vaginismus. One hell of a mess) Great to use, very comfortable, no stabbing, jabbing like with the solid plastic ones and can be rinsed under the tap. Its a YES from me, and I've used dilators for over 10 years. Highly recommended.

Purchased Size 2, am now coming back to go up to Size 3. Very comfortable to use, soft, moulds to my body. Would recommend this other women treating themselves for vaginal stenosis.

So I had vaginal hyperplasia (Google it) and it was fixed by surgery but anything beyond a tampon in there was agony. I used the Femax solid pink dilators the NHS give out but they were so rigid and uncomfy and I could never get to the larger sizes nor find the time to do the practise as you have to hold them in place etc. I wish I knew about these. I can insert one and go about my business (havenâ€™t managed to walk around as they donâ€™t stay in place for me but sitting is fine). To say they are comfy by comparison is an understatement. They are also not rigid but soft/more flexible. The smallest is tiny so you can really build up in your own time. I wish I knew about these several years ago. Donâ€™t hesitate, worth the money.

These are really nice to use.........

These are much nicer to use than the ones recommended by the NHS! I really like the shape that allows for the lube to distribute around the dilators. I find the shaping of the external end quite comfortable too. I did want to be able to walk around the house and do chores, whilst using them, but I am not finding that at all easy - so I just lay down and read a book instead! I am really glad that I got these.

Very comfortable to use.

Very comfortable to use. Only using the small one for starters but the bendable texture really works for me. Have previously used The amielle Comfort ones that are hard and these are much better to use. Havenâ€™t tried it at night yet but will which is a good for me as I have a young family and time to myself is not always easy to get. Comes with a dilator lubricant and Cleaner, the lube is nice to use. Would deffo recommend

Good dilators

Good set of dilators. Took them to my Physio who thought they looked great. I like the fact I can use it comfortably not stabby like some of the styles. If anything I would have liked a smaller one but the size 1 was ok I think anything looks daunting to me. Chunky to use when holding so I don’t feel I will lose it. Have sat and rocked on it which was easier than I thought it would be. Thank you I hope this helps others JM

Have used these for 3 ...

Have used these for 3 weeks following 4 months of chemo. Comfortable to use and very easy which made using them daily more palatable. Gel and cleaner included. Chose to buy these over the NHS ones I was offered which were hard plastic and pretty unyielding. The gel tracks make adding more moisture easy and gets right inside without it wiping off before insertion. If you are having to use a dilator several times a day like I am currently having to do, you might as well have something that fits into your life and feels comfortable.
