Simple and easy to use, I’ve used Kegel 8 for 1 month only so waiting to see results.

I’ve been having stress incontinence for quite a while now, when running, coughing, sneezing and laughing overly, so I read up on the varying Kegel pelvic toners and decided on the Kegel 8 Tight & Tone which I purchased immediately after Christmas. I have been using it consistently every day, have missed a couple of days but not more than 3. I use Programme 4 for stress incontinence and have the MA’s set at around 32. So far I haven’t seen any significant results but I contacted a member of the support team for Kegel and was told not to get disheartened as I may not see results for 2 to 3 months so I will keep going and hope that my stress incontinence will disappear in entirety in the next few months.

Slightly Confused

I purchased the Kegel Toner (probe liberty) just over a week ago and have already noticed a difference. I was quite skeptic about it but I was wrong. I am confused to what the others do differently as I want to use the correct one of course but cannot see what is different about each one and cannot find the information about what each is for as I want to use the correct one. Anyone point me in the right direction please.

Kegel8 Tight and tone

Great little device. I had a similar one many years ago after my third child to help with stress incontinence. Now in my late 60s and need help again. These aids really do work when used properly.
I only wish it had a charging lead instead of batteries, it would be a great improvement.

Bit disappointed with myself as should have bought the more expensive one so that the programmes can be tailored and set . Otherwise ok. The whole process of choosing is difficult until you actually get to use one and find out what it's all about.

Helped to give my dignity back

I never thought that bladder leaks was a menopause symptom, but my word how wrong I was. This compact device was recommended to me by my incontinence practitioner at a physio session. We had been working to help me relearn pelvic tightening after I had almost over trained my muscle to never relax as I was so concerned about leaking. This could happen by lifting a joint from the oven, coughing, being startled or getting the shopping from the car. My menopause low mood was being made worse by this condition which in my fifties was causing me to need bulky pads in case of leaks. I felt old and not comfortable in my clothes or going out, so this clever muscle stimulator is truly helping me to get my life back.

Probe felt too big!

I have been using a gold probe for the last three years and decided to have a change. However, this new device had a probe which was much larger, more uncomfortable and I could not feel any sensation using it. I went back to the gold one and I could feel the tingling again. Maybe I will try again later with the new one, but probably not. I do like the new exercises on this model though as they only last 20 mins!

I have suffered with bladder problems from a you my age- several rounds of physiotherapy, put on Oxybutynin. Years and 2 kids later, and I was, at 36, considering starting to wear full pull-up pads as the urgency and leaks would over flow pads. Money well spent

I’ve been using this for several months now and it has had a huge impact. Bladder control has improved greatly, no night time toileting, no more worries about coughing when unwell and increased sensitivity during sex. The only negative is the fact the connectors are VERY easily disconnected if you happen to move while using this, with the cost of this device, the connectors should be of far better quality.

Several months ago I suffered a prolapse after overdoing an excercise class. I purchased a toner from Boots but it only worked for one month so I ordered a Kegel. It was much better and worth the extra money. I would certainly recommend it to anyone with my problem

I needed to change the probe supplied for a slimmer one which perhaps doesn't sit as well as the original and can be prickly at times. I would suggest starting with a low current and turning up gradually over time as you get used to the feel, until it causes tightening of thw muscles. It is going to take a while to get my muscles toned . The service provided by the company is excellent. I booked a phone call before buying - this is how i arranged to change the probe. The operator was very helpful.

In 2 days there was a difference I could hold my bladder and it felt amazing to be in control again. Now after five days my pads are dry and I even ran for the bus and nothing leaked.
