Contam Normal Pessary for Bladder Weakness

Love them .. Couldn t do without them .. The downside id the price .. Do manage to make them last longer .. Such a shame can,t get them in the NHS .. I will be ordering again .. Has not found anything better ..

I made my first purchase for the contam support in January and have been using them since. I was using poise impressa until discontinued then fitted for a disc pessary and was uncomfortable and didn't help. Found the contam s in January and using them since. The only suggestion is I wish there was a way to put some sort of an applicator on them making it easier to insert. Will continue to purchase. 👍

Very expensive for what they are.
Single use! I thought that, fir the price, they would be multi use

I am so glad that I found these tampons. The instant relief from pressure and restored confidence has improved my wellbeing immensely. I would happily recommend this product.

I really think that the Contam is amazing BUT I think it’s well over priced I would love to know why it costs so much to produce. I wish it was more affordable not just for me but for the people who need them but can’t afford to use them on a daily basic. And wish they were ayon the NHS. I would love to hear the answer??

excellent product and swift service

The pessary definitely helped my incontinence but I don’t think I had the right size as it slipped down and was uncomfortable during the day. Expensive to experiment with but I may try again.

Great product but far too expensive as a one-use item. For someone who needs to use this every day, there needs to be a better option!

just wish the string was made of something stronger they snap after a while

Ordered two pessaries, but one came with open packaging.I contacted them, and they were very quick to respond, and send a new,sealed one out. Good customer service.

This is the best aid I have found. Can't be felt after insertion. I use it with lubricant and then re-use it after washing it several times times with no problem or infection.

Service from SNM was great, the pessaries arrived very quickly. They're eye wateringky expensive but women who need them are desperate so ...

Easy to insert highly effective and a great confidence boost. I walk dogs an hour a day at a brisk pace and previously soaked a Tena pad. I do think the cost for many will be prohibitive and yet so many women would benefit . I re use them by simply soaking in very hot water. I have never had an infection or problem doing this. The NHS and GP’s should be able to prescribe them as they meet an essential need to give women peace of mind.

I would use these all the time if they were more affordable.

Very pleased with product

I wanted to try these pessaries as I am waiting to visit the pessary nurse at my GP. They arrive hard, but after soaking for 1 minute they soften and you insert. a great idea I feel really supported (grade 2 front wall prolapse) its just a shame the string isn't made of silicone so they could be reused and think this would be an improvement. Will still go to the pessary nurse but it is great to know there are options for me.

I do re use them and appreciate that for some they will be prohibitively expensive although I no longer buy pads. Washing the contam in very hot water works well and to date I have not had any infections or discomfort.

I think these should be put on prescription,it would change so many peoples life’s

I've given this 5 stars as I believe it can make a real difference to ladies' lives. Since menopause my Involutory incontinence has impacted my life even further than it was before, meaning even walking resulting in soggy pads which are both uncomfortable and, frankly, depressing, without even considering the environmental impact.
I took a while to get the correct size, thinking the Xtra Plus would offer the best support and stay in place better. Actually it just felt uncomfortable and was more likely to be expelled. By coming down a size, function was greatly improved
Like others I rinse, then discreetly soak in Milton solution overnight beofre drying in the airing cupboard! I use my pessaries many many times before they lose shape

Great idea to have the starter pack so you can get the best fit.

you can get products on prescription but unfortunately not this one
