I’ve used a few different probes with my Kegel8 over the years, but the Gold Glide is completely different – in a good way! It just feels more effective, like the stimulation goes exactly where it needs to. The gold makes a big difference – it’s comfortable, and I don’t get any irritation like I’ve had with other materials.
I will say, because it’s a slightly wider shape, I tend to sit down while using it – that helps keep it in place and stops it from flipping or moving around. Once it’s positioned, it stays put and the session feels really targeted and strong.
I’ve noticed improvements much faster since switching to this probe, especially with prolapse support. It feels secure, powerful, and I genuinely think it’s helped me make better progress. Highly recommended if you’re serious about getting results.

I started using Kegel8 Gold Glide with my pelvic floor toner and it’s made such a difference. I have a mild prolapse and was struggling to feel the stimulation properly, but with this gold probe, the connection is so much better. It feels powerful, and really helps the device work more effectively. I also like knowing it contains gold ions, which are supposed to improve NMES conductivity – a bonus when you’re multitasking. I use it seated, the prolapse holds it in place as it slips under the bulge, whatever - I have to keep on with the Kegel8 to stop my prolapse from getting worse, or another one developing. I am also having topical vaginal oestrogen - I wish I had used that as soon as my dryness/atrophy was diagnosed - it is vital to strengthen the muscles and tissue as much as possible. I always begrudged the cost, and instead I have ended up with kegel balls, and all manner of exercisers I thought I would use, but when I used them - I couldn't do the squeeze, and what's more I wasn't sure if I was doing it right. I was an expert without being knowing I was doing it right! Crikey. I bit the bullet when I got diagnosed with a mild prolapse, following 5 years of vaginal atrophy which I think made everything weaker. I wish I had known before, about the dryness being so bad but then the damage is done (I mean I would have started on a topical oestrogen) But the exercises are keeping the prolapse in place and I feel so much stronger. Wonderfully happy to have found this and the valuable information provided through this firm I've benefited and learned so much. The one eye-opening thing I learned was that surgery doesn't/didn't stregthen my pelvic floor and so the problem can return without doing kegels correctly. Every surgeon should be required to tell women them. My problem hasn't returned. Doing the exercises with the help of Kegel8 will greatly increase the probability that I'll never have a PF prolapse or other PF-related problem again!

Very easy to use and effective
I find the wide flattened, shape to be difficult to insert so that it sits horizontally without flipping vertically. I always feel like I have to check it, which is also difficult.Disappointing and will have to purchase more cylindrical probe.

The Gold material ensures a more powerful stimulation each time you use it. The flatter wider style is specially designed for those with prolapse and or a low cervix. Sitting upright holds it in place and stops and twisting and ensures the prolapse does 'get in the way' or hinder the probe stimulating the pelvic floor muscles. Much more comfortable than my previous probe and does not keep slipping out.
Due to the curve and width, I find the probe difficult to insert and even more difficult to ensure it remains horizontal instead of rotating to stimulate the front and back of the vagina. Just very awkward

The best probe for my prolapse. Sits under the prolapse, and it is really powerful, totally different to a normal silver one. I'm really getting stronger and progressing - delighted with the results from my Kegel8 as my pelvic floor took a battering during my sons birth!
I have tried pretty much all of the probes that fit the Kegel 8. I kept buying them due to not finding any of them comfortable enough. This was the last one that I bought and I haven't needed to replace it. When I do, it will be with an identical one.
I have to be careful with this replacement as the connections are very loose and keep coming apart when using the Kegel 20 unlike the original supplied when first ordered

Wonderful to use as I have prolapse of the bowel
I bought a Kegel8 a couple of years ago and used it to cure my incontinence. The probe wires started to fail due to constant wear so I have just bought a replacement which arrived quickly and I look forward to another couple of year use.
The probe was different from the previous model that I had. On the original probe, it had a ring which made it easy to remove it. However, on this new one, it does not have this and you have to use the wires to pull it out, which is hardly ideal.
Dear Genie, Thank you for your review. When we designed the Gold Glide probe we made the wire extra strong and gave it an extra waterproofed sealer to enable easy removal - so this is a deliberate design feature. We wanted to have it so that a user could sit upright comfortably with the probe in place (so no knobbly bit outside) this is especially useful for those women with prolapse. Thank you for your comments it is most useful for us have these comments and we do save them for future designs and developments.

Totally cured my stress incontinence which was leakage when sneezing coughing laughing etc. I am 56 now no children with a recticle in bowel used this for 4 years almost once daily.
Oh yes sex it’s obviously gets tighter for the man and sometimes so tight sex results in my man occasionally having friction soreness !!! It makes me chuckle.., ! This only happened when I started using kegal8
This is the best probe to use as I have tried others and the silver one which isn’t as good as the gold one. Just buy it it’s worth it..
Have used Stress No More for several years, excellent products and swift service
I have used these machines periodically over many years. The original probe was brilliant but I am not so fond of the gold one. It's uncomfortable to insert and remove. Preferred the old style one.
The overall product is brilliant (ultra 20), though I have to use it most days or my issues return quickly (have used for about 2 years). However, the probes aren't built to last as the wire connections aren't robust - so be prepared to replace them on a semi regular basis.

This came with my Ultra 20. After two failed attempts I have been unable to use my Ultra 20 and wont be able to until I purchase a new probe, which I kind of begrudge after spending £145. The reason I can not use the Ultra 20 are as follows. Despite the fact I used a lot of lubricant, I found the probe difficult to insert, its a awkward shape and kept flipping on its side, after fiddling around I finally got it in place and it just felt uncomfortable. The worst part by far though was the removable, which was painful and bordering on traumatic, the probe was hard to removed and it felt like it was pulling my vagina out almost like it has suctioned onto my vaginal wall, I attempted to use a second time with more lubricant, which had the same result I would not recommend this product
This is my second Glide Gold Probe and so far it is working fine, though in over 1 year I haven't felt much benefit from the Kegel program. Progress is difficult to quantify, but I keep on trying!
Useful tool to combat a nuisance problem.
This probe definitely gives more sensation than the others however I feel it is difficult and painful to insert. I may stick to one of the smaller ones. In any case, I feel like it's doing the job!
Got my Kegel8 ultra last week and it is excellent. I have a prolapsed wall, I have been doing legal exercises prior to buying this brilliant little machine. Wish I had bought it a few months back.
