Good for certain times.

As an active golfer these are very effective for when I am playing golf. When I am gardening solo I will wear a clamp (preferred uriclak) it is a case of alternating the different solutions to protection - these would work out expensive if I used them 24/7 but for golf, walking, events etc they offer a good level of secure protection. I have tried tena and bulky pads and they are just not suitable for my needs. CJK

Currently using X Top level 2. Happy that they do the job, no leaks. Not really suitable to wear with baggy boxers, better with briefs. Alternate these with clamp and am managing the leaks as well as can be hoped, but definitely preferable to the really bulky Tena Pads for men. PR

I had an episode of needing to go urgently a couple of months ago and purchased this item after searching for items that were portable and easy to use on the move. I purchased this item for my partner and father-in-law. My partner who is in his 50s and originally scoffed at my purchase, now swears by it for long journeys.
It removes all the planning, stress and thought about suddenly needing to pee that he has had for a few years now due to prostrate issues.
My father-in-law will also use these for hospital appointments as he has mobility issues and is always worried about not getting to the toilet in time but has always been embarrassed about wearing an incontinence nappy.

Expensive, useful but inadequate fastening...

I used a couple of short lengths of double-sided Velcro, (which is not flexible,) joined by a short length of elastic tape. (Sewn together. ) It's a bit of a faff each time, but worth the hassle because no accidents now.

Initially my husband wasnt sure if they would work but after trying the medium x-tops out he he says they have been a lifesaver. They catch any dribbles and even when he has more than a dribble there is no leakage or smell so he feels much more confident and comfortable. He works full time and itâ€™s such a relief knowing that he doesnâ€™t have to worry about embarrassing accidents. He wears them with padded pants for extra security and there is nothing visible through his trousers. They are a bit expensive but we worked out the cost per day is worth it for the peace of mind.

Very comfortable to wear and more importantly nobody can see I am wearing anything. Means I can wear my chinos again without the worry of the dreaded wet patch.

Like the previous reviewer wearing pants makes xtop more efficient for me, certainly at night as I tend to toss and turn a bit. A good solution for an annoyingly embarrassing problem.

I find these very comfortable to wear and following my prostate surgery I have been able to reduce from level 2 to level 1. With the continued physiotherapy and pelvic floor exercises I am hopeful of regaining control within the next 4 months.
