Silicone is one of the most clinically supported treatments available for scar management. The ScarGone Complete Silicone Scar Therapy Pack combines two silicone treatments — gel and tape — into a single, coordinated routine that works harder than either product alone.
The gel prepares and hydrates the scar tissue; the tape locks that treatment in, providing continuous gentle compression throughout the day or overnight. Used together, they create an occlusive environment that supports collagen regulation, reduces redness and itching, and helps flatten and soften raised scar tissue over time.
What's in the pack
A lightweight silicone gel that absorbs quickly to hydrate scar tissue, regulate collagen production, and reduce redness, itching, and discomfort. Apply first as the foundation of each treatment session.
Transparent silicone tape supplied on a roll — rip to the size and shape you need and apply directly over the gel. The occlusive layer locks in moisture, enhances silicone absorption, and delivers continuous compression to the scar. Translucent and discreet, it blends with all skin tones and can be worn on visible areas including the face, neck, and hands. Washable and reusable for extended daily and overnight wear.
What it does
Flattens and softens raised scars — silicone regulates collagen production while gentle compression helps align collagen fibres and reduce scar thickness.
Reduces redness, itching, and discomfort — the moisture-rich environment calms irritated nerve endings and soothes sensitive healing tissue.
Improves texture and colour — consistent wear reduces discolouration and uneven texture on both new and established scars.
Protects healing tissue — the silicone barrier shields the scar from environmental irritation while treatment is underway.
Suitable for all scar types and skin tones — works on surgical, C-section, keloid, hypertrophic, acne, and burn scars. Gentle enough for sensitive skin.
How to use
1. Begin only once the skin is fully healed and intact.
2. Clean and dry the scar area thoroughly.
3. Apply a thin, even layer of silicone gel across the scar.
4. Massage gently until no longer tacky — approximately one minute.
5. Rip a length of silicone tape to size and remove one side of the protective backing.
6. Place over the treated area and smooth flat.
7. Peel away the final protective film.
8. Wear for a minimum of 12 hours daily. Results build with consistent, long-term use.
Add massage to your routine
For a complete scar management approach, combine this pack with the ScarGone Scar Balm and ScarGone Scar Management Massager — massage stimulates blood flow and tissue regeneration, enhancing the results of silicone therapy.
Do not apply to open or unhealed wounds. If your scar is post-surgical, check with your surgeon or physiotherapist before starting — most recommend beginning once the wound has fully closed, usually around 6–8 weeks post-op.
