Product Description

Know Your Body. Know Your Balance.

Take the guesswork out of intimate wellness with the IntiFresh Vaginal pH Test Strips - a simple, at-home test designed to help you monitor your vaginal pH and catch potential imbalances early, before they become a bigger concern.

Whether you're checking in on your intimate health routinely or investigating symptoms that feel "off," these easy-to-use test strips give you fast, private, and reliable insight - right from the comfort of home.

Why IntiFresh?

Your vaginal pH says a lot about your overall intimate health. A healthy, acidic environment acts as a natural barrier, helping to keep unwanted bacteria and yeast in check. When that balance shifts, it can leave you more vulnerable to irritation and infection. The IntiFresh pH Test Strips make it easy to check in on that balance whenever you need to - no appointments, no waiting, no awkward conversations required.

Why You'll Love the IntiFresh pH Test Strips

  • Fast & Accurate – Clear, easy-to-read results in just 15 seconds.
  • Simple to Use at Home – No experience needed. Just swab, wait, and match the colour.
  • Clear Colour Chart – A large, easy-to-interpret chart printed on the pack takes the confusion out of reading results.
  • Discreet & Private – Test in complete privacy, on your own schedule.
  • Trusted Formulation – Designed to detect the kind of pH shifts commonly linked to bacterial vaginosis (BV), yeast infections, and trichomoniasis.

Who Is It For?

  • Women wanting to keep a routine check on their intimate health
  • Anyone experiencing symptoms such as unusual discharge, itching, odour, or discomfort during urination or intercourse
  • Those trying to understand whether their symptoms may point to a yeast infection, BV, or something else
  • Women navigating hormonal changes such as perimenopause or menopause
  • Anyone who prefers to check in privately before deciding whether to see a GP

How to Use the IntiFresh Vaginal pH Test Strips

  1. Wash and dry your hands thoroughly.
  2. Using a clean cotton swab, gently collect a small sample of vaginal fluid.
  3. Apply to the reactive tip of the strip.
  4. Wait 15 seconds for the results.
  5. Compare to the colour chart provided.

Understanding Your Vaginal pH

  • Acidic: pH of 3.0 - 3.5
  • Normal: pH of 3.8 - 4.5
  • Abnormal: pH of 5.0 - 6.5

As with any at-home test, this product is designed to support your understanding of your intimate health and is not a substitute for medical diagnosis. A reading outside your expected range doesn't mean something is definitely wrong, but it's a helpful signal that there may be a change in your vaginal flora and it may be worth speaking to your GP, especially alongside other symptoms.

Feel Informed, Not Anxious

Intimate health check-ins shouldn't feel clinical or intimidating. The IntiFresh Vaginal pH Test Strips give you a fast, private way to check in with your body - so you can make informed decisions about your care, on your own terms.

FAQs

How do vaginal pH test strips work?
Vaginal pH test strips measure the acidity of your vaginal fluid using a simple colour-change reaction. Collect a small sample of vaginal fluid, apply to the reactive tip, wait 15 seconds, then match the colour to the chart provided. This at-home pH test helps flag imbalances that may be linked to bacterial vaginosis (BV) or trichomoniasis, giving you fast insight into your vaginal health.

Can pH test strips detect a yeast infection?
Vaginal pH test strips are most effective at identifying pH imbalances linked to BV and trichomoniasis, as yeast infections don't always raise vaginal pH. If your result is normal but you're still experiencing itching or discharge, this can help point towards a yeast infection rather than BV - a useful step before speaking to your GP or pharmacist.

What is a normal vaginal pH level?
A healthy vaginal pH typically sits at 4.5 or below during your reproductive years (ages 15–49). Before puberty and after menopause, a normal pH range tends to be slightly higher. A lower, more acidic vaginal pH balance helps protect against harmful bacteria and yeast, so consistently high readings may signal it's time to check in with a healthcare provider.

How accurate are at-home vaginal pH test strips?
IntiFresh pH test strips for women are designed to deliver fast, accurate results in around 15 seconds when used correctly with vaginal fluid. As a home BV test, they offer a reliable first indicator of pH imbalance, though they're not a substitute for clinical diagnosis - persistent symptoms or abnormal results should always be followed up with your GP.

When should I use a vaginal pH test?
A vaginal pH test is worth using if you notice symptoms such as unusual discharge, itching, odour, or discomfort during urination or intercourse. Many women also use pH test strips as part of a routine feminine hygiene check, or to monitor for recurrence after previous BV or infections.

How do I read vaginal pH test strip results?
After collecting your sample, wait 15 seconds and compare the strip's colour to the chart printed on the pack. Each shade corresponds to a specific pH value - readings closer to 4.5 or below indicate a healthy, balanced vaginal pH, while higher readings may suggest an imbalance worth investigating further.

Vital for pessary users

Well, as a long term ring pessary user you'll find that they change the pH level and can leave you open to problems. I use these strip once a week - just to keep top side of my personal pH. If I feel I am getting onto the dark green/teal levels then I use a Gyntima suppository for a few days, and it regulates the pH levels perfectly. Its a case of keeping top-side of it and not letting the abnormal reading stay to long. When I did ignore the 'abnormal' and went swimming a lot (which also contributes - thanks chlorine) I ended up with BV and Gardnerella and on antibiotics. By keeping an eye helps me keep in control of my pH levels. Rosie x
