Today has been a busy day in the Kegel8 office - we have been preparing for Funny Women in Richmond, London on Friday.
Funny Women is a business which helps new women to break into the comedy scene and to help women find their voice. They also run workshops and showcases to mentor aspiring comedians and to inspire women to use humour in their everyday lives, in business and in other areas.
Friday sees their 'Sex, Lies and Lots of Cake' event which is an exploration of how to write and perform female comedy and has four special guests who are women leading double lives as comedy writers and performers. The aim is to encourage women to speak out and find their comedy voice.
And what's more: there's lots of cake provided by The Albert's Deli, London Deli of the Year!
