Too many men are dying prematurely!

You may have noticed in the past few weeks a large increase in the number of dodgy moustaches around you, this isn’t a strange homage to Lionel Ritchie or Freddie Mercury, they are all part of the charity awareness campaign Movember.

In the best month, in the UK alone, 5 men will have died from testicular cancer, over 400 men will have taken their own lives and a shocking 940 men will have passed away due to prostate cancer. That’s a total of 1,345 men that have died from preventable causes, taken away too soon. Movember aims to deal with health issues that men face globally by reducing this number by 25% by 2030.

As you may have already seen here at Kegel8 we have been doing our part to raise money to help change the face of men’s health. We have had two team members grow great Hulk Hogan-esque horseshoe moustaches, as voted for by you. Despite how much they weren't a fan of it, they prercivered and came out with two glorious Mo's. Sadly however they are both gone now. We have also had team members pushing themselves physically for this great cause. Between them they are covered a well over 650kms (400 miles). Now the month is over we can announce our final total and we can say it is fantastic! We are proud to say that our team raised a whopping £415 which here at Kegel8 we have double to make a grand total of £830. We would like to take this opportunity to say thanks for the help and support that everyone has given over the last month and an even bigger thanks to our fantastic members of staff for all their hard work.

Movember has helped over 1,200 organisations around the world in the last 13 years and thanks to all the hard work and donations from Kegel8 we can ensure that this fantastic work continues to help men around the world.
