Stephanie Taylor, Founder of industry leading Kegel8 Pelvic Floor Exercisers

Stephanie founded Kegel8 after listening to feedback from customers and understanding the issues some faced with pelvic pain and pelvic floor exercises. She found a gap in the market when it came to exercising the pelvic floor correctly and effectively. Stephanie created the concept of Kegel8 to develop units that enable women of all ages suffering with poor pelvic health to live more confident lives and empower themselves.

Working with physiotherapists, Stephanie also identified a need for men’s pelvic floor exercises - and the V for Men was born. This unit helps men with improving their sexual function, prostate issues and incontinence, ensuring that they take back control of their lives.

Kegel8 is now the UK’s leading pelvic health brand. Stephanie’s hard work to make an impact on women and men who suffer from pelvic floor issues was recognised in 2012 when Kegel8 was awarded the Regional Medilink Healthcare Business Award and again in 2013 when Kegel8 were awarded the National Medilink UK Healthcare Business Award.

Yvonne Brady, Founder and Managing Director of EVB Sport

Yvonne is a mum of three who ran the Dublin City Marathon in 2010. When she looked for sportswear that would correct her posture and take impact off her pelvic muscles – to provide her with just the right feeling of being supported her search came to nothing. As a trained engineer, she knew she could solve this problem herself.

Now EVB’s shorts are being worn by women all over the world and have been recommended by top sports professionals and leading physiotherapists in both the UK and Ireland. Yvonne’s invention saw her become a European finalist at the Cartier Women’s Initiative Awards. She is also listed in the top 25 female engineers in Ireland.
