Many women worldwide suffer with various forms of pelvic pain, ranging in it's severity.
If you’ve had continuous or recurrent pevic pain for more than 6 months, which is not connected to menstruation, pregnancy or sexual intercourse, this is known as ‘chronic pelvic pain’.
Chronic pelvic pain affects around 1 in 6 women, with worldwide rates for women of childbearing age ranging from 14% - 32%. Not only is their health suffering, but chronic pelvic pain is affecting women’s careers as we see 15% of sick days taken by women are a result of pelvic pain.
What Causes Pelvic Pain?
The most common causes of chronic pelvic pain are issues with the urinary system, gastrointestinal and gynaecologic system. These causes include endometriosis, pelvic inflammatory bowel disease and irritable bowel syndrome. In September 2017, a NICE report revealed that women endure between 4 and 10 years of crippling pain before being diagnosed with endometriosis. That’s a long time to suffer!
Other causes, which are less common include pelvic abscesses and tight (overactive) pelvic muscles.
Many would assume that only women suffer with pelvic pain, but you might be surprised to learn that men are also affected. Prostatitis is the main cause of pelvic pain in men aged between 30 and 50 years old. It is caused by the inflammation or swelling of the prostate gland, and up to half of all men develop symptoms at some stage which, if left untreated, can develop into chronic pain.
How Can You Treat Pelvic Pain?
Most chronic pelvic pain can be treated with a visit to the doctor. In any instance, no one should be left to suffer in silence because there is help and support available if only you knew where to look.

How Do Our Kegel8 Toners Help to Relieve Pain?
Our Kegel8 Ultra 20 toner blocks the pain signals being sent to the brain and stimulates the release of endorphins for natural pain relief. It also helps to relax pelvic floor muscles that become "locked" in pain. Treatment is easy too, if you can’t or don’t want to use a vaginal probe, you can stimulate the muscles externally using electrode pads for fast effective natural pain relief.
A massive 90% of the pelvic floor muscles are stimulated using our Kegel8 toners, compared to just 40% using manual exercises.
Break the silence today to take the first step in regaining your strength, and get back to normal with our life changing range today!
