What our customers say about the Biofeedback Pelvic Trainer With Extra Probe Free

Great, noticing the difference within a month of purchase. I'm not as scared to cough or sneeze any more! Will certainly keep it up.

I have had this product for 4 years now and while it has not completely cured the problem it has made a difference. I have had 3 children, forceps delivery and breast cancer treatment 12 years ago, all of which weaken your pelvic floor massively so I was told by the continence nurse. I still wear pads but not the heavy ones I use to have to wear and don't have to replace them during the day nor worry about embarrassing leaks when wearing light trousers or when I am out all day. I use the machine for 10 mins everyday and I am up to level 9. I have found that this product was better for me than he electronic vitality as the results were greater and it doesn't take as long. Also the probes seem to last ages . I like the little case handy for travel .

Ok I so I’ve had two children, had no major complaints about my pelvic tone, but I felt like it was getting ever so slightly slacker than it was. So I bought this mainly to see where I am as I had no idea. When I first did it on the 28/10 I got a 5 out of a possible 9. I was gutted! Anyway it turned out I’d been putting it in wrong...so when I finally did it right I got a 7. Which is about what I expected. Continued getting a 7 till 9/11 when I got an 8! Woo! Carried on and by the 14/11 I was on 9! Top score! So pleased! It really does work. Helps so much u can see it going up as you squeeze! I’ve also noticed my tummy is much flatter...! I’ve been doing it almost a month now (morning and night) and I’ll carry on for 12 weeks. I might drop it to three times a week then! Honestly, if you’re not sure about this, just go for it! So worth it! :-)

    Not for Men
    Review by Not for Men
I bought this because it was listed with the Kegel V for men. No where on the page does it say it is for woman only. They did take it back though and paid for shipping.

At first I was unsure of how it work, however within a few days of using it it was showing that I was improving. Easy to understand how to use it and the display of the information on the screen was clear.

    Disappointing
    Review by M
I think my pelvic floor is beyond help as I haven't noticed any improvement. Vagina is very lax too. Readings differ greatly depending on how I position the probe. It doesn't stay in place but gets pushed out by the cystocele. Can only use it lying down and this is not the best position for exercise. No timer on the training mode . I think it is over priced. It has made no difference. Six weeks later still only scoring 2 or 3.☹️

    A must have!
    Review by Freya
This is definitely a must have to monitor your progress. I have been using the Kegel8 vitality and felt I needed to check how strong my pelvic floor actually is. I thought I was much stronger than 7, so it was a big reality check for me. Somehow I notice that it is a lot more work involved than with the tens machines like kegel8 vitality. I have a feeling this could be better in the end but have not tried it for long enough to know for sure

    Early days
    Review by TJC
I have owned a Kegel 8 pelvic toner for many years and have used it on and off but never stick to using it for more than two weeks.
I am approaching 52 and have started to realise that when I need the loo as I am pulling down my tights, jeans etc that I nearly start going for a wee before I'm sat on the loo. A couple iof times it has taken every bit of strength not to properly let go. Thankfully it hasn't happened and I'm not going to ever let it.
I saw the Kegel 8 trainer and decided to give it a go.
I wanted to test the strength of my own pelvic floor which this machine allows. I also wanted to try and locate my pelvic floor to see if I'm doing it correctly. This machine doesn't actually tell you if you are doing it correctly, you just have to read the instructions they supply and hope that you're doing it correctly. The first couple of times I used this machine, I found it a bit confusing how I was supposed to keep up with the second part of the test. It was a rapid fire of flex and relax. It didn't give me enough time to find my pelvic floor before it was telling me to relax. I'm sure with practice I will get faster.
I don't seem to be able to find a comfortable position totdo this in either. Knees bent, legs together, legs apart, sitting up etc.
I am trying to use this twice a day and do the exercises for about 5 mins at a time. I definitely get an ache in my lower stomach after I've done them, so hopefully I'm locating the right area. I have found it difficulty not to hold my stomach in and I also forgot to breath as I'm concentrating so hard.
The machine itself is easy to set up. I like the little zip up bag to keep it in but it does have Kegel plastered across it, so not a good idea to leave it hanging around.
The inflatable tool is comfortable to use and stays inserted ok.
It's very early days to comment on it's success and whether it keeps me wanting to do the exercises as I personally don't find them easy and neither do I enjoy doing them. so would very easy to give up. I just have to think back to nearly wetting myself as I approach the toilet and ii will get on and use it.
I am definitely not going to use this machine in conjunction with my other Kegel machine as I want to know if I'm making the difference and not the battery version.
I'm glad I've bought it, just got to put in the effort now.

    Ok so far
    Review by Beryl
I have had the trainer a week. I have a rectocele prolapse which I was aware of from a GP examination 5 years ago, but i was becoming more aware of it so I went to my GP as it felt like it was getting worse, I am aware of a slight bulge at the rear of the vagina which I am told is the vagina back wall, the GP referred me to a specialist physiotherapist who has given me a programme of kegels 3 times a day and to see her again in a month, she examined me and confirmed what I already knew that my pelvic floor muscles are weak! Also menopause doesn't help as less oestrogen which reduces muscle tone also I am on medication which reduces it further, also had a deep forceps delivery when I had my eldest son 30 years ago, so she said all those things contribute to getting a prolapse. I have not done regular kegels either so that's how I got to this place! I have researched it and know there are millions of other women in the same boat as me.! Anyway being a doer rather than sitting by while things can only get even worse I decided to take action and commit to doing the kegels as instructed and see how it goes over the next few months, I know its a long process and I won't get the muscles working overnight! So I decided to buy the kegel trainer so I could monitor my progress with the kegel exercises. Firstly it is very easy to use, the probe is comfortable and easy to insert, the monitor is simple to use. I have used it twice a day for a week and boy are my muscles weak, I am getting 1 - 2 scores! But the first thing I would say is that unlike when you just do the kegels without this monitor with it you become aware of which muscles to tighten, or Flex, and that can only be a good thing, I have a benchmark to work from. I asked my physio about the kegel electronic toners but she said I would be best to do the exercises myself! I have not ruled out getting one further down the line. So that's basically it, I have had this a week its early days and it won't be easy but I am going to persist as doing nothing is not an option!

    Not worth the money

A bit like buying a manual toothbtush instead of an electronic one.

I suggest spending the extra to get an Ultra 20.

    Very Basic
    Review by Sidwell
I bought this with high hopes but it is very basic. It does not tell you if you are doing the contraction correctly. It just gives a score and that score varies depending on how you lie. Slight changes in position changes the score. It also does not provide any specific exercises to do in training mode, just squeeze and a score is given (and one that changes depending on very slight changes in your position) Personally I am disappointed with my purchase.

Nice to see the numbers increase.
    Review by FruitDrops
I've only had my trainer for one week and I've used it twice daily. I've had surgery and gel injections neither of which have worked and from my understanding change in hormones can affect muscle tone also. The machine works fine, no probs and for me instructions are clear. I'm only a 3 laying down but no surprise there, but can reach a 4 when sitting upright or standing, Although I will still say I'm a 3, I can feel improvement and I can see that my numbers have increased upon using it. So far happy with it. I suppose my only concern is the suggested length of time for the toner before you have to replace it.

    Really helpful
    Review by Jj
Easy to use, gives immediate feedback on muscle strength. I have thought about buying a device for a while, did a lot of research before buying this and I am not disappointed. I work my pelvic floor daily but this device has shown there is room for improvement which helps and I will know when I am improving them, can't recommend it enough..

    Frequently asked questions

I can’t decide if the Pelvic Trainer or the Kegel8 Ultra 20 is right for me.

This Pelvic Trainer helps you perform accurate independent pelvic floor muscle exercises, by audibly guiding you to squeeze and relax. It also measures muscle strength, which is Ideal if you have OK muscle tone, and you want to improve either the strength of the squeeze and/or endurance (length) of the muscle squeeze. The Ultra 20 does the work for you, using e-stim impulses to make weak muscles work and rest. If you struggle to perform an independent Kegel squeeze or have lots of leaks and trouble keeping a tampon in place, we recommend you opt for e-stim assisted pelvic floor exercises.

Can I use the Pelvic Trainer while pregnant?

It is not recommended to use any Kegel8 medical pelvic toners vaginally while pregnant unless under medical supervision, that includes this Pelvic Muscle Trainer.

    What does biofeedback mean?

Biofeedback refers to the fact that this pelvic toner responds to you moving your muscles and contracting your pelvic floor, measures it, and 'feeds back' the information to you on screen. This is an invaluable way to strengthen pelvic floor muscles and help you monitor your progress. Follow the ‘Squeeze Scale’ to improve two aspects of pelvic floor weakness - 1. The strength of your squeeze and 2. Endurance - this is how long you can hold the squeeze before your muscles gets tired. Measuring both areas - how hard you squeeze and how long you hold the squeeze is displayed on the screen in real time so you can record your progress.

Is the probe hard or soft?

The probe has a soft exterior, which is made from body friendly silicone. Inside is pressurised with air so treat it gently - don’t over squeeze it in your hands! When inserted vaginally, you squeeze your muscles as you would when performing Kegel exercises and it measures the force you use, recording it on the screen as a number from 1 - 10. This helps you get the best results, from fast Kegels to slow Kegels, and rebuild strong pelvic floor muscles in a matter of weeks. There’s a page to record your progress and when you see it in black and white you’ll be amazed how quickly your muscles have ‘come back to life’.

I have a Mirena coil (or other IUD) – can I use this?

Yes! An IUD inserted in the uterus is a highly effective form of birth control. T Shaped plastic IUD’s, Mirena, Skyla, Liletta, and Kyleena, and the non-hormonal copper coil ParaGard T-380A can all be used safely when using the Kegel8 Pelvic Trainer.
