The Importance of Using Exercise Gel with your Toner

Still got that New Year fitness inspiration? Determined to take control of your pelvic health this year? What if Kegel8 could make exercise even easier?

Using an exercise gel with your pelvic toner can help to increase your intimate moisture and help you achieve greater results from your pelvic floor workouts. That’s why, here at Kegel8, we produced an exercise gel lubricant that specifically aims to assist your pelvic floor: The Kegel8 KE Gel Kegel Exercise Lubricant.

The main benefits of using the Kegel8 KE Gel with your electronic pelvic toner include:

  • Boosts effectiveness – The KE Gel is specially formulated for pelvic floor exercises. Using the KE Gel with a Kegel8 vaginal probe will help to enhance the conductivity of the probe. This works in a similar way to ultrasounds - the gel that is applied helps to prevent any extra air space between the probe and your skin in order to deliver effective stimulation. This is especially effective when using the Kegel8 Glide Gold Vaginal Probe as the exercise gel allows the gold electrode plates to stimulate your muscles more, strengthening your pelvic floor faster.
  • Improve intimate dryness – When inserting a probe, you may find it more comfortable to insert when using the KE Gel. Even more, you can use the KE Gel daily to add extra comfort and alleviate intimate dryness.
  • Safety – The Kegel8 KE Gel is water-based and pH balanced, meaning that it is kind to skin and non-irritating. The KE Gel is also, hormone-free and completely natural, meaning that it is even safe to use during breastfeeding.

Jacki - Buy This Gel!

"Good product, works very well. Bottle is compact and discreet. I advise you to buy: I thought I would get a similar product (cheaper !) from a shop but it caused irritation and needed treatment for vaginosis.

Sally Ann - No Smell, No Irritants!

"I have used this product for over a year and I wouldn't buy anything else. I have never had any allergy and it doesn't smell of anything.

Why Do I Need an Electronic Pelvic Floor Toner?

You may find it difficult to begin your pelvic floor exercises or are concerned that you are not doing them properly. To help this, you can use a pelvic exercise tool, such as an electronic toner, to improve the efficiency of each squeeze and lift you perform.

Or if you already consider yourself as a keen-Kegeler, you can use a pelvic exercise tool to challenge your pelvic floor, or to simply mix up your current regime.

But, What is the Difference Between Manual Exercises and Electronic Pelvic Toners?

Manual pelvic floor exercises require you to contract and relax your pelvic floor muscles all by yourself. You may find it easier to squeeze against a resistance tool, such as a vaginal cone, to ensure your muscles are working correctly. Alternatively, try using an electronic biofeedback tool to track your progress and confirm that each squeeze and lift is effective.

An electronic pelvic toner does all of the work for you! The electrical stimulation that these devices use contract and relax your pelvic floor without the need for any manual work. If you’re starting out with Kegels, it’s best that you use one of these devices as 50% of women don’t know how to perform an effective pelvic floor muscle contraction.

Performing your pelvic floor exercises with the support of a pelvic exercise tool can help to improve:

  • Exercise technique – A pelvic exercise tool can help to ensure that you are contracting the correct muscles.
  • Time efficiency – Devices, such as the Kegel8 Ultra 20 Electronic Pelvic Toner, have pre-set, timed programmes that ensure your pelvic floor is efficiently worked – normally within 30 minutes a day!
  • Motivation – Once you see the huge improvement your pelvic floor has made, you will have a greater likelihood of continuing with your pelvic floor exercise programme.
  • Results - Using a pelvic exercise tool can help you to strengthen your pelvic floor faster than manual exercises alone.

Bridget - Didn't Want Any More Surgery, So I Found the Ultra 20!

"Didn't want more surgery, so found the Kegel8 Ultra 20. Only used it a few times so far and I think it's great. Comfortable to use and I actually think there is some small improvement already. Will keep using it and let you know how thing progress. My GP asked me if I'd been doing pelvic floor exercises, and like a lot of women, I hadn't. This is so much better. I set aside some me time twice a day and before I know it times up. Thank you Kegel8

Mari - Worth Every Cent!

"I stupidly put off buying the Ultra 20 for several months because I thought it was too costly. My pelvic floor muscles and prolapse have gradually worsened over the years because I'm just plain lazy when it comes to the manual exercises. My 'bulge' protruded quite badly at the entrance to my vagina and I honestly can't remember the last time I had a 'proper' orgasm, because my pelvic floor was so weak. I have been using my Ultra 20 for 5 weeks now and I'm rapt with the results so far. Another bonus is that I am now going for wees a few times a day instead of a few times an hour. Nothing but praise for this wonderful little gadget. So ladies please don't put off buying a kegel8 toner like I did if you are having problems like me.
