Pessary
A pessary is a medical device that is inserted into the vagina to provide support for various gynaecological conditions, including pelvic organ prolapse and urinary incontinence. It is a non-surgical treatment option that helps alleviate symptoms and discomfort by helping to lift and support the pelvic organs back into their normal positions. Pessaries come in various shapes, sizes, and materials some are typically fitted and prescribed by a healthcare provider, often a gynaecologist or a pelvic health specialist. Other pessaries that we call 'daywear pessary' gives the wearer support that they control especially when to use it and when to remove it. The choice of pessary depends on the specific condition being treated and the individual's anatomy.
