Having had two repairs each for prolapsed bladder and bowel, the last two just over a year ago, I was devastated to find I had another small bladder prolapse. Surgeon has suggested further surgery. I was nervous about two things: spending a lot of money on something I'd only seen on the internet, not heard of from a 'real' person - and also nervous about using something internally as I freak out during smear tests as they are so painful - I get vaginismus (also during sexual intercourse). Nevertheless I went ahead because I saw my middle age incontinence just getting worse and worse. I wonder why I took so long for me to do something about the problem I had with leaking. It had got to the stage that even going downstairs I would leak and when the lift at work broke I was goind down 3 flights of stairs and I could feel the leaks onvirtually every one. My sex life was non existant - we'll the occasional fumble, but I hadnt had an orgasm through sex for ages. It is early days but I am extremely positive that I will continue to see results as I feel a slight improvement already. I knew I needed something to tighten me up, but I hadn't realised that there was something like this available! Quite honestly it is amazing, Hubby thinks it is wonderful and when I had a 2 week break recently he noticed straight away, it is that effective! Yes you do have to use it regularly, but for someone like me who goes to the gym, walks the dog, it just becomes part of my routine. I now use it 2/3 times a week. I don't have any leaks or mishaps, and my love-life is better than it has been for a decade. I tell all my friends, some have bought, some are embarrassed that I am talking so candidly about my problem/solution. These should be available on the NHS, simple as that! Surprised by size of control set

I purchased the Kegrel 8 for bladder incontinence when running etc. I thought the control set would be a lot smaller and I would be able to tuck it in my pocket and get on with life while exercising. Unfortunately it's quite large and would require me being stationary while exercising or holding it. My life is mega busy and I can not give the time to using this machine as it would be difficult to do much else at the same time. Hoping with time the design if the handset will improve. Didn't use it do can't comment on performance. I returned the Kegrel 8 and received a refund with no issues

Desperate for improvement!

Having had an abnormal smear result and as a result of having had treatment it was brought to my attention that I had a grade 1 uterine prolapse, grade 2 cystocele and rectocele as well as a lapse perineum. I knew I was rather gaping down below but being told about this really stressed me out. My sex life has died as a consequence as I do not feel normal.
The most troublesome issue is the rectocele, as I feel this is worsening and I always feel swollen and bulgy prior to and even after having a bowl movement, as it feels as though stool is getting trapped. I often need to push the bulge back into my vagina to help me feel empty and have even used a douch as I hate to feel so uncomfortable.
I have looked at the Kegal products loads of times but being a bit of a sceptic I was unsure as to take the plunge as I am an impatient person and want to see results immediately.....Which I know doesn't happen. Anyway given that for about the last month or so, the bulging has become more frequent I decided I have nothing to lose by trying it. I have already got a TVT sling insitu as I suffered from really bad from stress incontinence so I want to avoid further surgery if possible.
I received my Kegal Ultra 20 26/03/14 and have used it twice a day on programmes p15 and p3. I can certainly feel my pelvic floor contracting when in use. I am unable to hold the probe in place unless I lie down as it slips out. I did contact customer services who recommended a pelviline probe as this is shaped differently and would probably stay in place better. Overall I do feel it is working and think the rectocele looks a bit less protruding so I will continue and hope for the best.
Only problem I am having is that I seem to have got thrush or possibly being irritated by using the probe? I do have a nickle allergy but the probe is gold plated so unless I am hyper sensitive to nickle? I assume it is thrush. I have not used the lubricant as that seems to make me itch too.
I am glad I purchase the Kegal 8 Ultra 20 and if it does what it says it will do? I will consider it money well spent.

After having my son in 2007 I noticed that I wasn't getting much from intercourse. I basically felt like I had lost sensitivity in my vagina. I mentioned it to several doctors who kept telling me to continue pelvic floor excercises that weren't helping. Then 2 years ago, at age 29, I was diagnosed with prolapse and i was devestated. Still I was being told to continue pelvic floor excercises and I just became more and more depressed as symptoms got worse. I spent day after day crying and my love life has become non existent. I'd heard of kegel8 and read through the reviews and, after a lot of thinking I finally ordered it. After using it for the first time I already feel an improvement. To anybody feeling like I did, stop thinking and just buy it! :)

I was looking for something to tighten me up after my horse-like ex boyfriend pretty much ruined the experience for any newcomers! I had difficuly finding a reveiw from any young women my age on this product, so was unsure about what the results would be. My pelvic floor, was probably alright, and to be honest I could have done the work with a manual exercerciser for a fraction of the price! It would have taken longer, and a lot more effort, I'm a lazy girl what can I say (;
Anyway, I received my kegal8 ultra 20 in the post yesterday, and used it promptly! I did two sessions, 30 mins each on setting 2, contraction @ 35. I was a little confused as to if it was working to start with, as you have to turn up the volume dial as it were, and I couldn't feel anything up to 25ish, so was slightly puzzled for approx 5 mins.
This is certainly nothng like a vibrator, I am p,eased that I can walk around with it in and it doesn't fall out.
Also I would love to inform, that after just two half hour sessions that day, that evening I spent with my new parter of almost a year, and we both could DEFINATLY tell the difference already. (Even though I haven't told him I bought the device, I've just been taking the credit for non-existent manual exercise ;) hehehe.
In conclusion, if your pelvic floor is in pretty good shape already, and you're lazy like moi, this will take your lovemaking to whole new levels! I am over the moon with the results of only one day, and I hope to finally be able to achieve vaginal orgasm one day, rather than through clitoral stimulation witch is limiting in positions.

I held off reviewing the Kegel 8 to make sure it wasn't just wishful thinking on my part. I have used the unit for three weeks now, and I have already noticed a significant difference in bladder control. My husband commented on how tight everything felt--I didn't even ask him about it! I am able to walk long distances without leakage, even sneezing and coughing are not as scary as they once were. I will continue to use the unit on Program 10 twice a day, increasing the mAs as I feel comfortable. Looking forward to summer and the activities that I was unable to partake in. I am so glad I found this and wish you were selling here in the US.Don't hesitate to order this exerciser.

Like a lot of ladies on here, I have a prolapsed bladder and stress incontinence. Six years ago, I was referred to a consultant, after a failed attempt of a pessary. He advised I have surgery, I wasn't keen because I had heard that it only had a 85% success rate, and I would need two ops, one on my bladder to 'lift' it and then another in a few weeks on my uretha. So I declined. Afterwards I lost 3 stone in weight, which helped with the prolapse, but still had a problem with stress incontinence, but could live with it. Now at 65 I find that my prolapse is bothering me again. I was going to go back to the doctors, and thought that it's inevitable that I had surgery. Then I started doing some research and found the Kegel 8, and after reading the reviews decided to give it a try. Well I have had it for a couple of weeks now, and I'm using it every day. I have noticed a subtle difference, It's not going to happen overnight, so will persevere. The instructions can be a bit vague, especially if you have more than one complaint. You have to keep switching from one page to another. But the help line is very good if you need to have anything explained. So I will continue using this. Not sure if I will ever be able to go without pads, but you never know.. watch this space! If it improves by 50% then it will be a great help. So far I am happy.

I have only just started using this - prolapse programme of P14 for 3 days followed by P3 for 2 days. I have to lie flat with legs together and not move otherwise probe slips out. Early days but I am hoping this will work. Easy to use.

First off I must say that the product came very quickly! I live in the states and it comes from the UK. Not sure how many days as I don't check my mail every day but 7-10 days I think. Anyway...... I have done the kegel8 for 3 days and I believe there is a slight difference already. I have a prolapsed Uterus, about a 3 grade. Which for those who don't know is it sticks slightly out. Now it is slightly sticking in, lol...... Anyway...... If they let me I will continue to write about my progress. I would like to hear yours too!! Good luck ladies!! One thing tough, I do think the product is a bit expensive, but hey if it works, It is worth it!! I say this because I have a tens unit, like the electrodes with the pads that come with this...... and it was only 30 dollars. Granted the Kegel8 20 has a bit more to it.
